Check out these layouts I got done for some of the Challenges at Challenge Masters! There is still time to get some layouts done to get into the draw for this month's prize from Scrapdango! Carrie from Scrapdango has donated an awesome kit. So click on the link (on the left of my page) and check out the prize and challenges! So Beautiful is for the Scraplift challenge and contains mostly Doodlebug paper and Coredinations card stock. I LOVE to dry emboss that stuff then sand. It adds wonder texture to a page. Ready, not quite is for the Ad/Art challenge and is made up of MAMBI paper and Coredinations card stock. I used the negative space of a spellbinders die for the frames. And the stamps are from SU!...Inks also. Title is Doodlebug rubons.
Playground fun is for the sketch challenge and is made up of Reminisce pp. Button, flowers, and stick pin are from my stash and I no longer remember the manufacturer for them. Letter stickers are from My little Shoebox and chipboard title is American Crafts with SU! ink and Glimmer Mist.
Seriously...there is still time to get your name in the hat for the awesome prize this month! I'm going to try and get a couple more done myself!
...I just took of Max! Natural light ROCKS! And I almost got the catch lights right on...lucky on that one! What a cutie!
Hey all...You are going to want to participate in this contest....Check it out....http://challengemasters.ning.com/forum/topics/our-very-first-contestBasically, all you need to do is create a layout about your "word". The word is based on Ali Edwards One Little Word...a word that you are focusing on for the year 2010. (See the link for more detailed information.)Everyone who completes the layout will go into a draw for $25 GC. Now here comes the cool part...Terri has picked a magic number. Once we reach that many entries, she increases the GC by $10, then for every 10 after that number...another $10. Imagine how big that GC can get!!!So spread the word and create a layout...easy peasy!!!
Well a little late...but my new year started on Monday, we were traveling over the weekend.I don't normally create New Years resolutions...just something else I can beat myself up for not accomplishing...kwim?!? But this year I did. I realized there has been MAJOR change in my life every year since I got married. I think I have gotten myself into survival mode and BALANCE has gotten way out of whack. So this year I'm going to focus on the work BALANCE...Balance between me, my kids, hubby, hobby, etc. I also need to work on creating a more healthy life style. Exercising and eating healthy has also fallen to the side during all the survival work. I've been hovering around a weight that is just not healthy. So no more fast food and exercise needs to be a part of my balancing act. I did the 30 day shred DVD yesterday. This is put out by Jillian Michaels. Lets just say it is VERY difficult to walk today! LOL!!!I'm also realizing I probably spend too much time on the computer and not enough time actually creating. So, I am limiting myself to two scrappy message boards!!! I'm going to miss some scrappy friends...but this is all about creating balance! I know that this is the right decision.Now...off to finish cleaning up my scrap space. It is a mess from the calendars I made for Christmas. Then Kelly has dance class, then dinner and the Biggest Loser tonight.Happy New Year!!!!!
