Sabbatical...almost over

Well...It is mid-Novemeber and I haven't scrapped for over 2 months!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it. And...I still have not resolved our adoption issue. Our agency is unwilling to do anything more which is just unacceptable to us. We are now looking for other options, maybe local adoption, maybe fostering to adopt...I don't know what path we will take. All I know is that the current path is road-blocked.

Life has been absolutely crazy. I started teaching at the local community college this semester. I cannot believe the amount of time I have put into these classes. I do love teaching. I am a little disappointed that I may not be teaching next semester. Oh well...the life of an adjunt (part-time) instructor.

And Scrappy Sabatical is about to end. I have over 60 Christmas cards to make, 5 2009 wall calendars and 2 desk calendars to make as gifts. I'm thinking my 12x12 printer will make everything much easier...I can't wait to get back to my scrappy table.

And who knows...maybe after the first of the year...I can get back to my scrappy board friends!!! I miss everyone.

Scrappy Sabbatical

I cannot believe I am saying this...but yes...I'm going on a scrappy sabbatical. I never thought I'd be in a place where I just don't want to scrap...And somehow...I'm there. I mean...I would scrap daily!!!!

It all started a couple of weeks ago. We finally got the call for a long awaited referal...finally a son for our family. It ended up we needed to decline the referal. This has just shaken me to the core. I cannot even begin to describe all the emotions and feelings I have gone through with this.

I just attended a crop and a scrappy retreat --> I didn't want to be at either and scrapping just didn't happen...everything was just soo difficult. Can you imagine not being excited about a scrapping retreat? I knew something was wrong.

So...I'm going to take some time off...said goodbye for now to my scrappy friends on the boards and I'm going to take time to heal and become the squeeky wheel at out adoption agency. Hopefully, this sabbatical will not last long!!!!!!

Ok, one more

Ok...I know my friend Cathy will be bummed because I have not posted a layout. Well here is one about motherhood. I finally finished it for the Scrapperie's Scrap Olympics!! What a fun contest! I wish I had had more time to participate. Anyway...I did this layout for the bingo challenge. Check it out -->

Most materials are MM Noteworthy -- I just love that stuff!! The little quotes came from a daily calendar that I had in '06. I save some of the ones that touched my heart in some way. I really wish I could figure out the lighting in my new home. I really hate the way this photo looks washed out! Sorry!!

Yeah! A new post!

Ok...All my photos are downloaded off the camera and well...I don't really have any more excuses not to get this blog up to date. A TON has gone on since we left for vacation. Too much for just one little old post on the blog...so I'll put update in multiple posts.
First vacation! What a blast! It was way more relaxing this time around. We did one day at Epcot, one day at Sea World and one day at Aquatica (Sea World's new water park). It was way fun! I'm not sure what our favorite part was.

Epcot was a blast...we got to ride on rides this time! Kelly was tall enough! We did Soar -- WOW!, Test Track -- FAST!, and Space Ship earth, plus some others that were more of the lame type. Kelly had to have one of those water spraying fans. (our neighbors brought theirs home from their vacation) I finally gave in (we won't talk about how much the fan cost!!!) Yet this photo and her joy are priceless!!

We spent a lot of time at our hotel's pool...Kelly was improving her swimming every day! We went to Sea World on what turnout to be the hottest day! But the shows were awesome and Kelly got to go on the big girl ride with mommy and daddy! The ride is called Atlantis and we got soaked!!!! Check out this photo...My hubby is top row left, Kelly and I are in the next row!

Then we went to Aquatica --> Sea World's water park. OMG!!! What a blast!!! I'm not a water park fan...I don't really like to get my face wet...I know...I'm weird. But their version of the lazy river was AWESOME!!!! You could put on a life vest and just float...and there were rapids and well we must have gone around at least 10 to 15 times. Kelly had a blast and always wanted to go faster. No pictures from the water park...Just no way to keep the camera safe.

My blog is read?

Ok...So it has come to my attention that I have not posted in a while. And this is very true. We've been busy with storm clean up, vacation, and the start of school. I actually thought this was not such a big deal...'cause who really reads my blog anyway. Well...I guess a bunch of you do! LOL!!! Multiple comments from many friends have asked "when" am I going to update my blog!

So...here is a post for you all. I do hope to get some more pictures up of the storm damage (the bucket truck came on Sunday to get the high stuff down), some photos of vacation and Kelly's first day of school. But...it will be a little while longer because I have also gone back to school. I accepted a position as an adjunct instructor for Muscatine Community College on Thursday. I am very busy re-learning and teaching Elementary Statistics for 9 Wilton HS students. Go figure...but I love it and hope that I will be asked back for the Spring (maybe for some other math class!)

So...be patient. I should get caught up and a little ahead this weekend. Then hopefully next week I'll get some photos up. Although...I'm thinking my scrap desk is going to collect some dust for awhile! All my free time is going to this class.

Vacation!!!

Yea...Vacation time is here!!! We leave tonight for some fun times in Orlando!! A character dinner at Epcot, day at SeaWorld, and a day at a water park. Otherwise no other plans...just do whatever, whenever. Probably a lot of R&R at the pool!!! I sure hope this revitalizes my scrap mojo...Because it sure has gone awall!!

Phase 1 done!

Yes...Phase 1 of clean up is done. It took us 7 days and we would still be working if a neighbor hadn't lent us his cart! PHEW! I think I'm finally not sore and had to go to the DR to get my allergies back under control...gotta love steriods! We were able to burn everything on Saturday and Sunday before the rain started!

Phase 2 will begin when we get back from vacation. We have to get a tree service to come out and get down the high stuff.

I feel like I haven't scrapped for a month! And vacation is starting in a couple of days...so I don't think I'll get back to my scrap table until the second week of August....hopefully the mojo will be flowing!

Derecho!

Well we are into day 3 of clean up after a Derecho blew through. Yes, that storm had a name. A derecho is more rare than a tornado. It is categorized by its direct path and they are known for their longevity, incredibly high-sustained wind speeds and fast moving nature. This one covered a 60 mile wide path from Omaha through the quad citys and on towards Chicago.

Great! Just what we needed! LOL!! Anyway, after 3 days of clean up, I think I finally have a plan. My husband and neighbor cut the wood after work and I haul it up. I think we will create a burn pile and burn the small stuff. I'm looking for volunteers to take the bigger stuff. Another neighbor has a wood burning furnace and will be taking some.

Anyway...here are some photos of what is done after 3 days. Although I got a slow start on Monday and Tuesday. Monday I had chainsaw problems. I bought the last one in town and it did not work well. Tuesday I exchanged it...Yeah! It works...but it is too heavy for me. I could cut for about 15 to 10 minutes, then I would haul wood in a wheel barrow. Tuesday night...Mike and our neighbor got a bunch cut. Another neighbor lent us his cart for the lawn tractor. Today I haulled and stacked all the wood.

There still seems to be a bunch more to do. I don't even feel like we got a dent into it...Check it out-->
This is 2 full rows with a third started. These logs ar at least 4" in diameter...a few are more than 12" in diameter.
This is the second pile of smaller stuff...There are piles all over the yard of smaller stuff that will eventually make it to the burn pit/pile I create.
This is one of 2 whole trees that came down still needing to be cut.
This is the other. It is hard to tell, but at about 8 feet up the tree snapped and fell over.
More limbs to be cut. Again, these are at least 12" in diameter at the widest point. There are at least 3 of these large limbs and many more smaller ones still waiting to be cut.
This is not a good photo...but there is an equivalent of a tree stuck in the tree. I have no idea how we are going to get that down. We have numerous stuck branches in the big Oaks and many of the Ashes have been topped.

Tornado?

Oh my goodness!! What a storm! No tornados, but winds blowing at 95 mph! We spent a good 30 to 45 minutes in the basement this morning...We probably should have gone down 15 minutes earlier. Check out our backyard, it looks like a war zone. We lost at least 2 whole trees and maybe another. There are 3 huge oaks that all have been basically topped. I think at least one and maybe another will survive. I have a feeling too much was lost on the other...which was our major shade sorce for our deck. But...the house is good and there is no damage. PHEW!! Needless to say...we now own a chainsaw!

Finally done!

Yep...Kelly's 4th year album is finally complete!!! Yeah...I got the last 2 page spread done during Scrapword's online crop. I even got done a card stock only layout! I'd been meaning to do one of those for a while...Check it out:

Wow...one photo of a 2 page spread is awfully tiny! Anyway the PP, rubons, tags, and stickers are all Daisy D. The circle thingys are MM grommets. One of those tools I had to have and just never used...until now!

I love how this layout turned out...card stock only, ghost letters with rubons, and silver stitching!

Anyway...do you have a tool that you just had to have and have never used it? Which one?

Comment verification

Well...it seems I have comment spam...so I have enabled comment verification. Bummer...I really didn't want to do this, but I never requested anything from a pharmacy....LOL!!! Now, if I could just figure out how to delete that comment with out verifing every comment!

I've been tagged!

So I might as well go for a record and make 3 posts in one day! LOL!!!

10 yrs ago: I was still single and living in Carol Stream. I was a system administrator turning into a capacity planner. WOW...a lot has changed since then.

5 things to do today: 1. Balance check book. 2. Pay bills. 3. Vacuum floors. 4. Clean kitchen. 5. Cook dinner. and 6. SCRAP!

Favorite snack: This is a toss up...for sweets --> dark chocolate m&ms. for salty --> pretzel flats with spinach dip.

What would I do if I was a millionaire: I would travel with my Hubby...live in a warm climate year round and scrap, scrap, scrap!

The places I have lived are: Homewood, IL...Champaign, Il (during my college days), Carol Stream, IL; Grayson, GA; St. Charles, IL, and now...Muscatine IA

The 4 people I will tag are: Shannon, Meg, Ally, and Jen

July 10th...

I just looked at this date when viewing my last post...July 10th is my Grandmother's birhday...she would have been 85 this year. She passed in December of '02, less than 10 days before we moved back to the Chicago area...I still miss her. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Grandma!!! I know you are much happier now, but I still miss you!

Scrap mojo...

...where are you! I can't even look at my scrap table right now with out cringing...WHAT IS UP WITH THAT! I got burnt out at the last online crop I attended. Don't get me wrong...the crop was awesome! Lots of wonderful challenges and games...I had a lot of fun.

But, what I did find out was that I was forcing layouts to fit challenges and soon got disgusted There is even one layout I want to rip up...but it got lots of praise in the gallery...go figure...bleech! I'm thinking that for everyone one or challenge you do, you get a FREE choice...Maybe that would help with the burn out.

Anyway...I'm one 2 page spread from finishing Kelly's 4th year book!! I should be chomping at the bit to get it done...I LOVE the feeling of a finished book!

Or maybe it is because of the layout that is sitting on my desk. It is left over from the crop challenge...Frozen Yougart...a layout about me. I choose to focus on all my "Battles" that I seem to be in lately...weight/toy pickup/light shut off/project putaway....I'm having a hard time working on this for some reason. Yeah...this is it...I think there is a battle that has not made its way to the page...I'm not sure what it is yet...but it is holding me back. Off to find out what it is!!

So...how do you get your mojo back?

Scrapper vs. Artist?

I just opened my new Memory Makers magazine and there was an interesting Article...Scrapper vs. Artist. This title really piqued my interest as I have been struggling to find balance in my scrapping lately.

The article basically reiterated the traditional definitions of each --> a scrapper is someone that scraps big events while working in archival mediums (reading between the lines...little embellishing). While an artist use non-traditional mediums (again reading between the lines...lots of embellishing) and will more often scrap everyday type events. Then they had the Masters describe which they are...scrapper, artist, or both.

First off...I would debate that ANYONE that gets selected to be a master is definitely artist in my book. And at least one master was honest and said she treated layouts to be published more artistically than what she does for herself and family. And one other Master described herself as scrapper and created a layout to illustrate her style. I again would debate that this layout would not have been published if it was not for this article. The rest said artist or both.

So...back to my own debate...am I an artist or scrapper? I would argue that as an engineer, there is no way I can be an "artist". But, I do have to admit, that as a member of a DT...I did try to create more artsy layouts. And some of those I really loved! And then, there are those layouts that I create very simply to document the memory I want to save. And then...I am sooo drawn to those artsy layouts! I love the ones that can be artsy and still tell a story. And I sooo want to recreate that style.

But bottom line, I'm just a scrapper that dabbles in art! I love to play with new things and see how they can add to my story, or help me highlight something, or draw attention to something else. I find that if I can find a balance between both, that I become at peace with my scrapping.

So, how about you...scrapper, artist, or both?

Last crop at Endless Ideas?

Well...I finally get moved into our new home in Muscatine and the LSS here decides to shut down! Way bummer...I live in the sticks and now no LSS...OH WELL!

I did go to her crop last night and got 4 projects done and a 5th one started. Wow...it is amazing what I can accomplish when I plan. I had photos ready and papers pulled. The layouts and cards are more simple than I normally create...but it felt great to finish them without all the artsy agony! LOL!! I wonder if I can find a balance between the artsy and the simple.

Then this morning I was hoping to sleep in...But no...the dogs woke me up at 7:15 am. So...I decided to go to the 8 am WW meeting and get back on the wagon! I've put on 4 pounds since the last time I went over 2 months ago! But...I'm determined to make healthier eating choices and get some exercise in!

Here is what I created last night! These are for challenges at an online crop I'm participating in at Sassy Scrappers. I'm thinking this will just be the warm up for the Ice Cream Social crop at the Scrapperie. I can't wait to see what I finish over the next 2 weekends!

Happy Father's Day

Oh man..it is Thursday already...GEEZ, how time flies when you get busy and behind! LOL!!
Anyway...We have been busy since Saturday! We drove over 400 miles, maybe even close to 500 miles this weekend. We went to visit our old neighbors since they were having their summer birthday party for the kids. Kelly played with her friend Megan from 2:30 until 9 pm when we left! She had a blast! The Conroy's always rent a jumpy thingy and Kelly always has a blast on it. Here is a photo -->
We stayed at my Dad's overnight and celebrated Father's Day with him. MaryLou, her sister Pat and Joe, came for a BBQ. Kelly got to play with Marylou's grandson Nicholas. I got dad a digital picture frame. Spent a couple of hours loading a flash drive of pictures of Kelly from birth until now. I set up the frame and let it start scrolling through the photos. I leave letting Kelly and Dad watching the photos to take a shower...2 minutes into the shower, Kellys comes to tell me they deleted all the photos! Sure enough...little miss button pusher, started touching the frame which activated the menu. Dad panicked and started touching buttons and viola...all the photos I loaded are gone! Great...so I took some more photos and loaded the internal storage right from my camer flash card. So...he still has some pictures on it! It still is a pretty cool gift. I'm not sure he thinks so. I'm hoping this will help him convert to digital. Anyway, here is the card I made for him -->It is an envelope card. An 8.5 x11 is cut in half, then triangles are sliced of from the midway point of both sides. The two flaps are decorated and then glued down. The Blue Happy Father's Day card slides out for writing the sentiment.

Scrapperie's May kit creations

Yeah...I got some creating done today. I finally finished this layout Fame-->
Journalling reads: This is my NEAR brush with FAME! I didn't actually meet Tim Holtz, but I did win this photo, autographed embossing tin, and his distressing inks at Scrappink 9-29-07

Then I got these 2 birthday cards done for a birthday party tomorrow. -->
I still need to get a couple father's day cards done and 3 thank yous. I really need to have a card stash on hand!

Type A personality...

...is a blessing and a curse. I love how I'm always striving to better myself...always trying to improve what I do and how...driven to do more. Always trying to learn from my mistakes. It served me well in Corporate America and helped me evolve into a job I loved. It helped my find the most wonderful organization --> Pathways for Success Living. I totally believe I wouldn't be half the wife, mother, crafter without the tools I gained from attending the seminars and staffing them.

Yet...at times, this trait seems to be such a curse. I always mean well...yet I find myself inadvertently over stepping bounds, saying/suggesting things I probably shouldn't, and damaging relationships. I even think it hinders me as a parent....I totally have to check myself and just let my daughter be. I wish I could find a way to harness the good parts of this personality without allowing the bad aspects to cause damage.

As you can see...I'm feeling a little raw today and at a cross roads. I have damaged yet another relationship and my attempts to repair it have failed. I am unsure what to do next. I wish I could be more like my husband...he'd just brush it off and move on. The problem is I don't really want to move on. What to do, what to do?

It is a Miracle!

Yep...it is a miracle!! Not only did I scrap today...yes all day...I finished a layout I'd been working on for a week AND started another and finished it! Yes...I started and finished a layout in one day!! I still can't believe it.

Here is the one that took me a week and well I'm thinking it is a little weak...I changed up the design so many times because I just couldn't get all the things I was doing to work together. -->
Journalling reads: This is me when I was 7. Oh to be young, innocent, and free!
This one is simple but sweet. I don't mind the flowers on this Grandpa page...he would have loved them! -->

Journalling reads: This photo brings a smile to my face. I'm about 18 mths old. Grandpa Bob was a nature lover, great fisherman, and wonderful Grandfather. Her passed away at 55 yrs. old in 1974. I was 10.

Ok...another note. I'm having the worst time getting good phots of my layouts in the new house. I had a great system in the old house that I just can't seem to duplicate. Either I end up washing out the layout or I have dark patches...ARGH!

And, while I'm talking about miracles...I ate a healthy lunch today! Lunch is my nemesis! I always seem to be out and about around lunch time and well...fast food is soo convenient! Anyway I had tuna salad on a whole wheat pita with lettuce and tomato. Topped off with Ranier cherries!! YUM!

Weekend post

Well...I thought I'd have another layout to post from The Scrapperie's Birdcage kit...but alas...we've been busy. We did a 5k walk yesterday morning. I have to admit I was not looking forward to it and was hoping it would be rained out. But the weather did not cooperate with me and we went. I have to say I had fun! It was hot...but it felt great to be exercising as a family! The walk was along the Mississippi river which was very nice. Plus...once I got my stride going...I got in a fairly decent workout in!! I'm trying to convince my hubby to do the Watermelon Stampede in July.

Then we went up to Iowa City and Coralville to check out another mall and find some more furniture stores. We found a smaller mall with a huge play place in it. Kelly had a blast! She ran around for an hour! But we did not find any furniture stores. Weird...I thought for sure there would be some around the malls...Oh well...we will head up to Davenport today.

Now...I think I'm going to take a LOT of flack from my fellow scrappy friends because I don't have one picture from either of these scrap worthy events!!! LOL!!! I forgot my camera!!! I've been soo busy with moving and everything else that I have gotten out of practice taking and using my camera!! Be easy on me ladies! LOL!!

Men and their toys!!!

Ok...ever since my Dad said he'd buy us (meaning my husband) a tractor for our almost 1 acre yard he has been singing "She thinks my Tractor is sexy". He is a big C&W fan and well...I can't blame him. Well, the tractor arrived yesterday. And he was like a little kid with a new toy. I was really proud of him...he actually read the manual to make sure he started it right! LOL!!! Check it out -->

The Scrapperie's May kit -- The Birdcage

Well...I finally found time to use the beautiful and highly inspirational May kit from the Scrapperie. I cannot fully express the amazingness (is that a word) of these kits. They are phenomenal. Sandi just has a knack for finding stuff that works together...incredible. I use things I would never have used. In this latest layout I used feathers...Yep...that is right...feathers. Needless to say, the minute my DT term was over I signed up for a 6 month subscription of her PDR option. (That is the kit that has it all!)

And even though I struggled with this layout...beads, flocking, painting, inking, color core, and sanding...I just love it. My Dad always takes pictures...especially of me and my daughter. These are the only photos I have of her and I. But alas...my dad is not digital and doesn't understand the concept of "framing". I really need to invest in a scanner...probably the next scrappy purchase I make...but in the mean time, I make lemonade out of these wonderful lemons. Check it out -->
Ok...the photo does not do this layout justice. The chipboard is inked with frayed burlap (ranger/tim holtz ink), then flocked with brown flocking by doodlebug. I used the quicky glue pen to make it look like bark. I put beads on the wing of the felt bird and sewed a bead for the eye. I used multiple colors of paint for the birds and used a feather for their tails. I should take a close up photo for all the deatails! And here they are -->

I think I have at least another layout and some wall decor coming out of this kit! I can't wait to see what materializes!!

Bye-Bye Moxxie

Well...it is over. My DT time at Moxxie is done and here are my final projects. I have to say it was pretty fun creating for a manufacturer! Cool to see the new stuff first and create projects for CHA! AND a monthly goodie box. I was hoping to do more for them now that I'm in Muscatine, but alas...it didn't happen...Oh well...maybe later. Anyway, here is a Thank you card I made from the Tea Time line. Everything is from Moxxie, except the ribbon which is from Joanns (I think). -->

And then, a layout from the DIY line. I soo struggled with this one. I loved the frame I made on the outside and then just couldn't figure out what to do in the middle! LOL!! Anyway...I finally finished it. Again, all materials are from the Moxxie DIY line. -->

Scraproom is done!

And here it is...although it doesn't look much better than the previous photos! LOL!!! I just have to have everything within reach! And well, when you have too much stuff...it looks pretty cluttered! LOL!! Anyway...I have not really sat and scrapped here yet. I made a card for Moxxie and that is it. Hopefully today will be the day!!!

My scrap area -->

Kelly's scrap area -->

I did not take a picture of the closet!! Although I'm loving the storage there! And...my DH works for HON...you'd think we'd have some better chairs! LOL!!!

June Blog Extravaganza begins!!!!

Well....June 1st came and went and I didn't blog!!! LOL!!! Oh well...life got in the way yesterday and I'm not sad. We had a great weekend!!! Friday I finally finished unpacking! Yep...all the boxes are empty! My husband has to unpack the garage and I didn't unpack pictures because I'm going to paint before hanging anything up.

Then Friday night I went to a crop!!! WOOHOO...It was great to get out and scrap again. Although, I'm becoming an at home scrapper. I didn't really plan what I was going to do and just didn't have what I needed again. Oh well...it was great to get out and meet some new people. I have a couple layouts to finish from that night.

Then my Dad and MaryLou came for a visit. So...we played pinochle, showed them around town, went out to dinner. Plus...my Dad...his generousity is AMAZING...purchased a yard tractor for us. We have almost an acre to cut and our push mower would not do the job anymore! Thank you DAD!!!!! I love you soo much!

We mad them a big breakfast Sunday morning and then they went to visit MaryLou's brother who lives 20 minutes away in West Liberty! Go figure! When we lived in Atlanta, we lived 30 minutes from her other brother! Small world!

Then we had a spontaneous road trip. We decided to go to the mall. It is in Coralville, about 45 minutes from here. WOW...It felt like we were in civilization again! We spent the day shopping and caught a movie...IRONMAN...Loved it...the movie and the day. I think we just needed a family day of just us not doing anything! I do feel a little recharged after that.

Now...back to life! LOL!!!

I've also realized I'd like to blog more...just see what my scrappy friends are doing in there lives and such. So, I've come up with a win-win for everyone! A June Blog extravaganza!!

All you have to do is blog on your blog and leave some love on other participating blogs that you visit!! Easy-peasy!!

Here are the details -->
Ok Ladies...this is what you all have been looking for! The June Blog Extravaganza hosted by ME! The one that just moved and realized I have WAY too much stuff!!! I'd also like to blog more so here is a win win for YOU!!!
All you have to do is BLOG...read blogs...and leave some love. I'll have a points system and point tracking thread....Get your self a spot in the points tracking thread and just update your points there...This will be an honor system...please be fare. Ok...points are as follows:2 points for creating a blog entry on your blog. 1 point for each blog you leave love on.
If you wish to participate, please PM me with your snail mail addy, things you like to scrap with...i.e. favorite papers/trimmings/stuff/storage...I have a bunch of storage stuff I'm not using anymore also, and your blog addy. Although having your blog addy in your sigi will help also.
I will have random RAKS. You never know which day/days I'll pick...so the more you blog and leave love...the better chance you have of receiving a RAK which I will try to customize based on your favorites. If you love Moxxie products...let me know! And it will be a surprise. I won't be announcing who received a RAK...you'll just get some scrappy mail! LOL!! Please let everyone know when you do get some. I will post that a package went out.
There will be grand prizes at the end of June based on points tallies.
Now...how to play. I will have a thread that lists all the blogs of those participating. But to help everyone that is playing...Please put "I blogged" when you have blogged under Colleens Blog prompt of the day. We can all check her prompts for ideas about blogging and we can see who blogged under those threads also. I'll put up examples.
See...easy. Contest officially begins June 1st. I may also have some extra weekend goodies and games to play! Fun, fun, fun....Get your blogs up and pm's to me if you are interested in playing!

Ok...go visit the Scrapperie...I'll be hosting the blog challenge from there. Can't wait to start sending out some RAKS!!!

Scrap room adjustment!

Well...we moved into this house that had a scrap room just for me! I was soo excited....countertops, a computer workspace, a scrapping workspace, cabinets, drawers, and a closet! AND...all right next the the family room!!! YEAH!!! I hated that in the old house. I was away from the family when I scrapped...I felt soo isolated.

So, I get here and start to unload the bazillion boxes of scrappy stuff (I have WAY TOO MUCH STUFF) and realized that I don't have a clue as to how to use this space! ARGH!! All my storage stuff is for a room without all this stuff. See old space --> And this was not the last rendition of my old space.

Now...check out the new space.

Well...I hope I find some inspiration this weekend! LOL!!
