More summer days...

I finally got week #5 done for the 92 days of summer at YMBD. This layout sat on my desk for a week! I just couldn't figure out what embellishments to use. Then I decided to stitch a path for the butterflies across the layout as if they were going from flower to flower...taking you through all the photos.

I don't know how she does it month after month...but I just hope she keeps it up! Anyway...here is a layout I created from the kit. Everything is from the kit except for the pink pompom ribbon. I think another layout has made it to my favorites list!

Weekend scrappin'!

I cannot believe how much scrapping I got done this weekend...and well, the weekend isn't over! LOL!!! I'm on a roll and finally loving my creations lately! Check these out: Snowman in March is based on a SoSketchy sketch plus I took the "Use it up Challenge" at the Scrapperie and used a bunch of glitter. I love most of it. The stickles on the bottom ended up too babyie...I thought the blue was darker...oh well. Papers and stickers are Reminisce Northern Exposure, glitter on the wood letters is Doodlebug. The snowflake chipboard was stamped then diamond glazed then glittered with Doodlebug glitter.
Ok...how fun is this one! It is based on a Jana Eubank sketch. She is another phenomenal sketch artist. Yes 46 Webkinz...I just love them and have a hard time telling Kelly no when she asks for one. Plus, she loves them and we often use a new webkinz purchase as a bribe. PP, chipboard, and brad are Basic Grey Lime Ricky, felt letters are AC thickers, distressing ink Ranger/Tim Holz, and punch is SU!

And since it is 4th of July weekend...I just had to do a Red, White, and Blue layout. Well...this one is for Sassy Scrappers weekend crop and chat. Every weekend they have a chat with a layout challenge. This weekend the challenge was to use RWB! I happened to have this cool sketch by Jana Euband and viola! I doodled/stamped the white circle and had fun making the star embellishments.

July...Seriously, already

On one hand, I really want the summer to fly by...that just means we will be leaving for Russia sooner. On the other hand...time doesn't need to fly this fast!!! It seems like it should be June 1st. But, Kelly is out of school...completed a week of girl scout camp, starting gymnastic camp next week, and I have 4 weeks of summer layouts done. Geez!!! Look for some new layouts soon...I have some DT work I can give you a sneaky peek, another 92 day layout, and a webkinz layout in the hopper. Now that I have my mojo back...I can't seem to find enough scrappy time!!!!!!

And here is my latest 92 days of summer layout. It is based on Heather's one page sketch. I think I'm going to keep to a 2 page theme...but then again, I reserve the right to change my mind at any time! LOL!! I love the bracket idea from the sketch. I had a little trouble figuring out how to embellish this one. The brackets and papers did a lot of talking. Still...I'm really liking how these layouts are turning out. The next one is almost done. I'm really having fun with this contest!

And check this out...you can win free stamps...check this link: http://yourmemoriescanada.blogspot.com/2009/07/july-blog-candy.html Gotta love free give aways! Thanks Ally!
