I have given a go with Project Life...although not daily. I just can't seem to remember to take a photo a day. And then I have big events like Kelly's meets. So, I'm doing a happy medium and I love it. I received Echo Park's Photo Freedom Volume #1 as my kit for February from the Scrapbooking Studio. How perfect to get me started.
Like I said...I have found a happy medium, but cannot share all yet. I will share the two 12x12 layouts that I did for the month of January. I'll share the Project Life spreads once they go up on the store's blog.
So...wanna see! Kelly had two meets in January and she did awesome. I have one layout with her on top of the podium...she got 1st on floor at the Crossroads meet. At the second meet, UGA, she did this phenomenal split leap. I still can't believe I got that photo. Taking good photos are her meets is near impossible. I need a better lens!
Anyway...here they are...

My life tends to smash any hopes of "project life" stuff to smithereens. Ah well. I roll with what I've got going on. I love that leap photo and I'd have been yelling out loud at the camera in celebration after seeing it. Tell me you did that - tellllll me you did...
Yep...I took that photo with my own camera! I usually cry when I look at the photos I take at meets. I don't have a decent f-stop lens for these -indoors-low light-fast action- meets. But as my husband always says: "Even a blind squirrel can eventually find a nut!" LOL!
